2023 UAPBTO Nationals – Perry, GA

The 2023 UAPBTO Nationals was a huge success and exceeded all of our expectations. Georgia people are the most kind, welcoming people and we appreciate ya all’s hospitality!

A huge thanks to Amy Watson and Jason Cross for making this happen. Thank you Sophia Politino for getting all our rosettes and awards out on display.  We appreciate you always being there to help. Thank you to Valerie Ann Piltz for traveling with Sherri Flossi, assisting with the event and helping to keep our event running smoothly.  Kristina Browne Conley – the pizza was a hit! Thanks for coordinating that for after the event. Kristina Perrault-those catalogs were amazing!!!!! You are hired!!! SO many thanks to give, but our biggest thanks go to the exhibitors. You exhibitors were so gracious. There were no losers here!!! The comradery was phenomenal. It was a pleasure meeting and getting to know you and it is our hope that many of you who aren’t already UAPBTO members will join us!

Our first Pinnacle Award was a huge hit. We had 7 entries of dogs that not only did conformation, but weight pull, and/or Rally Obedience. The winner, Bullitt, participated in it all and it was a very well-deserved win. The presentation of this award was very emotional as it is in the memory of Tyee Browne. We all felt Tyee’s presence, and it was an honor to have all the family and friends there to watch this award be presented. Tyee-you meant a lot to a lot of people and will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you, Jason Cross and Josh Rousey, for developing and sponsoring this award.

We also had a “Special Exhibition” this year. The turnout was fabulous and a whole lot of fun. We are hoping to make this an annual exhibition and possibly adding categories. We hope the exhibitors enjoyed themselves, We sure did. These shows are getting better and better every year. We look forward to what the 2024 Nationals has in store for us!
